SAUGET, IL-Windy City scored seven runs over the final three innings Wednesday night to defeat the Gateway Grizzlies 9-1 in the first of a three-game series at GCS Ballpark.

One night after scoring 17 runs on 17 hits, the Grizzlies (25-35) managed a run on just three hits.  Alex Kerins drove in the only run for the home team with a second inning double.  Joe Agreste scored the run after being hit by a pitch leading off the inning.  Agreste and Jonathan Quigley each also had hits for the Grizzlies.
