FLYERS HAND JACKHAMMERS AN 8-4 LOSS
SCHAUMBURG, IL-The Schaumburg Flyers (2-3) scored seven runs in the fourth inning to beat the Joliet JackHammers 8-4 before 1,370 fans at ALEXIAN FIELD on Monday Night.
Nick Prosise (2-4) lined a single into center field to score Diaz and give
The JackHammers scored one run in the second inning when Steve Garrabrants (1-3) led off the inning by reaching base on an error by center fielder Dustin Matthews. Matthews dropped a fly ball and Garrabrants ended up at third base. Nick McIntyre (2-4) hit an RBI single to score Garrabrants and give
The Flyers scored seven runs in the fourth inning against JackHammers starter Mike Schellinger (0-1). Ryan Luther (3-4) hit a one-out single and stole second base. Bo Hart (1-3) hit an RBI single to score Luther and cut the JackHammers lead down to 2-1.
Peanut Williams (2-4) hit a double to score Hart and tie the game at 2-2. Vince Harrison (2-3) hit a triple to score Williams and make it 3-2.
