HAMMERS INTRODUCE NEW MINI-PLAN PACKAGE

FOR THE 2008 SEASON

JOLIET, IL – Backing up their confidence in manager Wally Backman’s winning resume, the Joliet JackHammers are guaranteeing wins for fans investing in the “Wally’s Winners” mini-plan package. The pre-selected, six-game mini-plan package features a full credit towards a mini-plan package for the 2009 season if the JackHammers do not win at least four of the six games included in the mini-plan package. The JackHammers 2008 home season begins at Silver Cross Field on Harris Bank Opening Night (Friday, May 23) at 7:05 p.m. versus the Winnipeg Goldeyes.

“Obviously, baseball is a big part of what we do,” said Assistant General Manager-Ticket Sales, Kyle Kreger, who admits this is the first time ever the JackHammers have guaranteed more than one win in a season. “By offering this particular mini-plan package, we are hoping to further express our commitment to winning this season.”

Besides four guaranteed wins, “Wally’s Winners” mini-plan package also features several premium game dates; including Harris Bank Opening Night (Friday, May 23), Farmers Insurance “Salute to our Troops” (Wednesday, August 13) and Pepsi Fan Appreciation Night (Sunday, August 31). Plus, four of the six games included feature post-game fireworks shows! Box Seats are only $60.00 per-seat ($10.00 each), and Reserved Seats are as inexpensive as $42.00 per-seat ($7.00 each).

“It really does not get any better than this,” said Kreger, who is quick to point out the value. “For as little as $42.00 per-seat, our fans can see the best of JackHammers baseball throughout the 2008 season with the chance of doing it all over again next season at no cost!”

LOOSE GRAVEL: The JackHammers are also introducing several specials on exclusive group outings from Monday, May 5 – Friday, May 16. For starters, fans investing in either the DesRochers Spa & Party Patio or “Louie’s Pad” - Rooftop, with the “Starting Lineup” catering package, will receive an additional $50.00 towards catering and an on-field group photo with Wally Backman following the game! Also, fans investing in a 22-person, 36-person or 58-person individual luxury suite will receive $50.00 toward catering and an on-field group photo with Wally Backman following the game!
