TICKET SALES BEGIN MONDAY FOR CUBS CARAVAN STOP IN NORTHWEST INDIANA

Gary, Ind.—Ticket sales for the tour stop of the 2008 Chicago Cubs Caravan in Northwest Indiana will begin Monday, December 3rd at 10:00 a.m. Tickets will be available from the event coordinator, the Gary SouthShore RailCats. Tickets can be purchased at U. S. Steel Yard or by calling (219) 882-2255. Tickets are $20.00 per person with proceeds donated to the Home Field Advantage Foundation.
The Cubs Caravan will stop in Merrillville for a luncheon on January 17, 2008 at Avalon Manor, 3550 E. U.S. Highway 30. The event, which has enjoyed tremendous popularity in the Region, features appearances by Cubs players, coaches, and broadcasters, a lottery-based autograph session, and a question and answer exchange. Doors will open at 10:00 a.m. on January 17th. The autograph session will begin at 11:45 a.m. and end at 12:15 p.m. The event will also include a silent auction of Chicago Cubs memorabilia.
The Cubs are expected to tentatively identify the team participants in the caravan tomorrow (Friday).
