NEWARK, NJ – September 20, 2007 – The Newark Bears defeated the Long Island Ducks 2-0 in the best-of-three Divisional Series to advance to the best-of-five Atlantic League Championship Series where they will face either the Camden Riversharks or the Somerset Patriots. The Bears will host Game Three and, if necessary, Game Four and Game Five. Game Three on Sunday, September 23rd is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
Fans who attended the Bears 5-4 victory over the Ducks in Game One of the Divisional Series at Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium may present their ticket stub from that game at the ticket window and receive admission to any Championship Series games played at The Den. All postseason games played at Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium will begin at 7:05 PM.
