The Bears took a 2-0 lead in the top of the third inning.  With two outs, Marcus Nettles hit an RBI triple to drive in third baseman Pat Peavey and then scored one batter later on a Camden error.

Camden reliever Ramon Linares (3-2) picked up the win after retiring the final batter of the top half of the eighth.

Bears’ left-handed starter Jeriome Robertson will take the mound in game two of the doubleheader.
