RailCats and JackHammers Postponed on Thursday

Gary, Ind.—The Northern League baseball game between the Joliet JackHammers and Gary SouthShore RailCats scheduled for Thursday night has been postponed due to heavy rain at U. S. Steel Yard.  The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Friday night starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Steel Yard.  Both games will be seven inning games.

 

A fireworks show will follow the second game, sponsored by Krazy Kaplans and the Post-Tribune.  The series will also continue Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.  Travis Kerber (6-6, 4.47) and Steve Edsall (2-3, 5.06) will start for the RailCats on Friday.  Nate Sevier (11-3, 4.85) and James Garcia (0-2, 5.40) are scheduled to start for Joliet.
