RailCats activate mike reese from disabled list;

Gary, Ind.—The Gary SouthShore RailCats Professional Baseball Club announced today that outfielder Mike Reese has been activated from the disabled list.  The RailCats also placed outfielder Guye Senjem on irrevocable waivers.

 

Reese has played in 42 games with the RailCats this season, batting .276 with two home runs and 20 RBI.  He has started 33 games, primarily at the designated hitter position.

 

Senjem, signed only eight days ago, played in five games, going 3 for 19 (.158) with one run batted in.

 

The RailCats roster remains at the Northern League limit of 22 players.

 

The RailCats play at Joliet tonight (Friday), Saturday, and Sunday before returning home on Tuesday night to meet the Kansas City T-Bones at U. S. Steel Yard.  For tickets, call (219) 882-BALL (2255).
