OTTERS CAN'T FIND THEIR STROKE, LOSE 1-0

Evansville, IN – The Otters got another solid outing from Mark Murray
tonight, but the offense struggled again. Evansville had just three hits,
were helped by seven walks, but stranded nine on the bases and fell short
in another pitchers duel, losing to the Southern Illinois Miners by a
final of 1-0. A rash of injuries to their infielders did not help out the
Otters, requiring the healthy to play out of position. Despite that
issue, Evansville did not commit an error tonight for the first time in
eight consecutive games. The Otters are back in action tomorrow night at
7:05 against the Miners at Bosse Field.
