Evansville, IN - Evansville was able to get to one of the Frontier
Leagues' best pitchers tonight but wasn't able to cash in on the chances,
and fell to the RiverHawks 7-3. The Otters loaded the bases three times,
knocked out seven hits in seven innings off Tanner Watson (10-1) but would
strand 10 in that time. The Otters (31-52) have clinched the worst record
by a defending champion in Frontier League history and now must go 8-5 in
their final 13 games to fend off the worst record in Evansville Otter
history. The Otters and RiverHawks (43-35) are back at it tomorrow night
at 7:05 here at Bosse Field.
