Traverse City, MI - Evansville posted 10 hits against the Beach Bums but
stranded 13 on the base paths and dropped their seventh straight by a
final of 4-3 in twelve innings. The Otters had their chances in extra
innings, stranding runners on second and third in the 10th, and loading
the bases with nobody out in the 12th. Jake Haggerty had another solid
start, throwing seven innings, allowing five hits, three runs, just one of
those earned, walking two and striking out nine. The Otters are back in
action Wednesday at 6:05 in the final game of the season against Traverse
City.
