Chicago Fire Trade Rights to Tony Sanneh to Colorado Rapids

Former U.S. Defender rights exchanged for 2009 MLS SuperDraft natural fourth round selection

 

BRIDGEVIEW, IL (August 15, 2007) – Chicago Fire Soccer today announced a trade that sends the rights to Tony Sanneh to the Colorado Rapids in exchange for the Rapids’ natural fourth round selection of the 2009 SuperDraft.  Sanneh, 36, played 31 games (26 starts) for the “Men in Red”, registering 2,285 minutes of action throughout the 2005 and 2006 seasons.
