JACKHAMMERS AND RAILCATS ANNOUCE MAKE-UP DATE OF AUGUST 19 RAINOUT

The Two Clubs Will Play a 6:05 p.m. Game on Tuesday, August 28^th at Silver Cross Field.

JOLIET, IL-The Joliet JackHammers and Gary SouthShore RailCats have scheduled a make-up game for Tuesday, August 28 at 6:05 p.m. at Silver Cross Field. The game is a make-up of the contest originally scheduled for August 19 at Silver Cross Field. The JackHammers are pleased to announce another “Reading Club Night” to the 2007 schedule. Children will be able to run the bases after the game and students who participated in the “Jammer’s Book Buddies Program” may exchange their reading club vouchers for tickets to the game. The JackHammers will be giving away drawstring backpacks sponsored by Lumina to the first 1,000 fans.

“I’m glad we are able to make the game up at home and have it on a Tuesday when kids can use their reading club vouchers,” said Kelly Sufka, the JackHammers Executive Vice President/General Manager. “We need to thank Greg Tagert and the RailCats for working with us and agreeing to play on the 28^th, an off-day for us and a travel day to Kansas City for them.”

The JackHammers continue their three-game series with the Kansas City T-Bones tonight at Silver Cross Field at 6:05 p.m. Great seats remain for the final two games of the home stand.
