JACKHAMMERS ANNOUCE MAKE-UP DATE FOR AUGUST 5 RAINOUT

Game Will Be Made Up as Part of a Doubleheader August 18 at 6:05 p.m. at Silver Cross Field

JOLIET, IL-The Joliet JackHammers and Gary SouthShore RailCats will make up their suspended game from August 5 as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, August 18 beginning at 6:05 p.m. at Silver Cross Field. The JackHammers and RailCats will resume the suspended game at 0-0 in the top of the fifth inning and play the remaining innings of the regularly scheduled nine inning game. After a brief intermission, the two teams will play the regularly scheduled seven-inning game of the doubleheader. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. for the doubleheader.

Fans with tickets for the August 5th game can exchange them at the Silver Cross Field Box Office for tickets to any other 2007 regular season home game of equal or lesser value based upon availability.

The JackHammers and the Edmonton Cracker-Cats will play game two of their three-game series tonight at Silver Cross Field.
