JACKHAMMERS AND RAILCATS POSTPONED DUE TO RAIN ON SUNDAY

JOLIET, IL-The Joliet JackHammers and Gary SouthShore RailCats game on Sunday night has been cancelled due to heavy rain in the Joliet area. No make-up date has been announced.

The JackHammers want fans to know that their tickets for Sunday’s game can be exchanged at the Silver Cross Field Box Office for tickets to any other 2007 regular season home game of equal or lesser value based upon availability.

The JackHammers will take on the Kansas City T-Bones in the first of a three-game series on Monday night. Matt Smith (5-6, 5.18) will get the ball for the JackHammers against Anthony Boughner (6-3, 5.35) for the Kansas City T-Bones. The first pitch is at 7:05 and pre-game coverage begins at 6:50 p.m. on AM 1340 WJOL and online at www.jackhammerbaseball.com.

The JackHammers will host “All Faith Night” on Monday. There will be player testimonials before the game. There will also be photo opportunities with “Jammer” at Monday’s game!
