RAILCATS TO WEAR PINK JERSEYS ON SUNDAY;

SILENT AUCTION PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT CANCER RESEARCH

Gary, Ind.—The Gary SouthShore RailCats Professional Baseball Club will be hosting a silent auction during their July 8^th game against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks to raise funds for the Community Cancer Research Foundation. 

 

RailCats players, coaches and mascots will be wearing special pink jerseys which fans will have the opportunity to bid on during a silent auction.  Bids begin at $60 with $10 increments.  The auction will close at the end of the 5^th inning.  The winning fans will meet the players and receive their jerseys on the field following the game.  Gates open at 1:00 pm and the first 1,500 fans will receive free beach towels, sponsored by Community HealthCare System.
