RAILCATS ANNOUNCE $6,595 DONATION TO CANCER RESEARCH AFTER JERSEY AUCTION

Gary, Ind.—The Gary SouthShore RailCats Professional Baseball Club announced today that $6,595 will be donated to Community HealthCare System's Cancer Research Fund after Sunday's jersey auction. 

 

The RailCats wore special pink jerseys on Sunday against Fargo-Moorhead.  A silent auction took place during the game and each jersey was presented to the highest bidder following the game. 

 

Tanner Townsend's jersey raised $1,000, the largest bid of the auction.
