Roberts doubled to score Mike Breyman in the first inning to give the Grizzlies the 1-0 advantage.  Rockford came back with an unearned run off of Grizzlies starter Toro Trevino in the second.  Trevino (7-0) earned the win going 6.2 innings.  He gave up three runs, two earned, on nine hits.  He struck out five and didn't walk a hitter.

Mike Breyman hit a sacrifice fly in the third to put the Grizzlies up 2-1.  They would go up 4-1 with RBIs from Greg Andrews and Ryan Sullivan in the fourth inning.

Rockford (20-23) added single runs in the sixth and seventh innings to cut the lead to 4-3.

Roberts blow came with one out in the bottom of the eighth off Rockford reliever Dane Towery.  Roberts was 2-4 with the five runs driven in.
