Florence, KY – The streak ends at eight games as the Otters, behind a
dominant pitching performance by Jimmy Conroy, knock off the Freedom 7-2.
Conroy pitches a complete game, five hitter, allowing just one earned run,
while walking no one and striking out a season high 12. Evansville's
offense came to play again, putting up double-digits in hits for the
fourth consecutive game, as eight of nine contributed at least one hit
tonight. The Otters are back at it tomorrow at 6:05CDT as a pair of
All-Stars, Justin Jordan and Nick Dunning take the mound for the rubber
match of this three game set.
