Chillicothe, OH – The Otters fell behind early in this game, 3-0 as the
first four hitters singled. Jordan Baitinger made his professional
tonight, and settled down after the first, allowing the Otter to come back
to tie it in the 4th on Mike Spry's first home run of the season, a
monstrous shot over the left field wall to tie it at three. Chillicothe
would add two solo shots that would be enough to hold on to the win. The
Otters had their chances, loading the bases twice in the game with no one
out. They would score just once in each of those chances, once in the
second, and again in the sixth. Evansville drops to 20-28 on the season,
with the final game of the set scheduled for tomorrow at 5:05CDT at VA
Memorial Stadium.
