COSMETIC SURGERY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS WEEKEND AT DEN

NEWARK, NJ – July 18, 2007 – The first half North Division champion Newark Bears Professional Baseball Club will begin a three-game homestand against the Bridgeport Bluefish Thursday evening at 5:05 PM. Game two of the series will be Friday evening as the Bears host Cosmetic Surgery Night presented by New Jersey Plastic Surgery featuring a Bears T-Shirt giveaway to the first 1,500 fans courtesy of New Jersey Plastic Surgery and a post-game fireworks spectacular. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM.

All fans who mention the word “BOTOX” at the box office will receive a 2-for-1 ticket deal. Gates open at 6:05 PM, where fans will receive information on cosmetic surgery and procedures. In addition, the Bears will welcome “Michael” as their special cosmetic surgery guest.

On Saturday, the Bears will complete the three-game series by celebrating the release of The Simpsons Movie with a special night. All fans in attendance can enjoy a special appearance by Homer Simpson and the hilarity of the pre-game Homer J. Simpson Donut Eating Contest presented by DiPaolo’s Bakery. Fans will receive FREE admission at the box office when they dress as their favorite Simpsons character, wear Simpsons-related apparel, or present any Simpsons-related item. Gates open at 5:05 PM.
