JACKHAMMERS TO HOST SPECIAL “TOYS FOR TOTS” DRIVE AND TICKET SPECIAL ON MONDAY, JUNE 25 HOME GAME

JOLIET, IL-The Joliet JackHammers will host a special “Toys for Tots” Drive in conjunction with a half-price ticket promotion at the JackHammers Monday, June 25 home game against the Gary SouthShore RailCats at Silver Cross Field at 7:05 p.m. Any fan who brings a new, unwrapped toy to the Silver Cross Field Box Office on Monday will receive up to four half-price tickets to that evening’s game for each toy donated. The JackHammers begin a six-game home stand tonight, June 22, at 7:05 p.m. against the Winnipeg Goldeyes at Silver Cross Field.

“This promotion allows us to give back to the community,” said Kelly Sufka, JackHammers Executive Vice President/General Manager. “Toys for Tots does so many wonderful things for children around the holidays. A lot of times people forget that there is a year-round need for gifts.”

Fans wishing to purchase half-price tickets must bring the toys to the JackHammers Box Office at Silver Cross Field. The toy drive will be held in addition to the JackHammers current promotion of “Half Way to the Holidays” presented by Arby’s where the JackHammers will give away nine iPODS to lucky fans throughout the evening.

Loose Gravel: Tonight the JackHammers will host a fireworks display sponsored by Aramark at the end of the game. The JackHammers will also host a Fireworks Show after the Saturday, June 23 game against the Goldeyes at 7:05 p.m.
