Notes: Georgion had hits in his first two times at bat, giving him four consecutive base hits in the spring season. The streak ended with a grounder to the mound his third time to the plate.
Pre-game notes: The RailCats released non-roster catcher Carl Johnson after Wednesday's game. Infielder Steve Hudson played for the RailCats on Thursday on a try-out basis. He is a product of Purdue-North Central.

Bottom of seventh: Brown allowed a lead-off single off the glove of Georgion at first. Brown retired the next two batters before allowing a line drive hit to center.
